During May 2016, the Iraq Internally Displaced Persons Information Centre (Iraq IIC) handled a record 3,554 calls, pushing the total number of calls since the Iraq IIC’s launch in July 2015 past 19,000. By the end of the month, 99.2% of cases were classified as closed.

For the first time since the call centre’s launch, callers seeking information on government services (27%) topped the call breakdown list, with cash (25%) and food (22%) following closely.
